My Story
When I qualified in Physiotherapy in 1999, I worked at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in London. It was here that I was introduced to Hand Therapy, and I knew I had found my niche. As I was a relatively new physiotherapist I knew it would benefit me from having further knowledge in general musculoskeletal physiotherapy. I therefore worked a further 2 years of musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Chippenham Community Hospital NHS hospital, Wiltshire before moving to New Zealand in 2002. Here I worked at Christchurch Hospital Hand Therapy Unit, a large tertiary teaching hospital. It was here that I completed my further studies in Hand Therapy and had exposure to many complex conditions and surgeries. I became Allied Health Team Leader in 2014 leading the Musculoskeletal team across in-patients and out-patients covering Hands, Burns and Plastics, Orthopaedics, Ear Nose and Throat, the Emergency Department and Musculoskeletal out-patients.

In 2017 I moved to the Sunshine Coast where I am pleased to be able to offer hand therapy and physiotherapy services to the Sunshine Coast area.
